Level 1 Report Writing: Using the Report Writers*

Presenter: Trainer, Shelley Armstrong

This all-day session is for the user who has intermediate-level Administrator’s Plus skills, but beginner-level Report Writing skills. This session will first briefly cover the basics of generating reports throughout Administrator’s Plus. Participants will learn how to search, sort, create and save queries and groups, learn how to generate the hundreds of built-in reports throughout the program, and become familiar with the specifications screens within each module’s report writer. This session will focus on the modification of existing reports and how to customize them to the school’s needs. Participants will be introduced to many of the basic report writing codes and modification techniques in the data base, attendance, and if time permits, discipline modules. During hands-on activities participants will learn how to use the report writing screens. The slower pace will allow for hands-on activities and sufficient time to answer questions.
NOTE: Attendees should bring to the session examples of letters/labels needed at their schools. Any letters/labels created can be taken back to the school on participants USB drives/disks/etc., with instructions on how to install them to the school’s server.
NOTE: This workshop is for users who are new to report writing, but have intermediate-level experience using Administrators Plus.

Offered twice. Attend this session on either Tuesday, July 22 or Tuesday, August 5th.
